- · The kitchen table series- negotiation of space, intimate invasion. Appear documentary but are staged, challenging black female narrative. She becomes the subject and the photographer. Identity, race, gender, class is all questioned. Beauty of a woman’s solitude. Evocative, mysterious, dramatic.
- · “I looked and I looked to see what terrified you”- constructs her own sexuality, self criticism and love, why should she be judged?
